It all happens on May 15
Craving a trip to southern France? (Why wouldn’t you be?) Well, now Miami diners don’t need to look any further than Downtown Miami. Boulud Sud {255 Biscayne Boulevard Way, Downtown Miami; 305.421.8800}, chef and restaurateur Daniel Boulud’s coastal-Mediterranean restaurant inside the JW Marriott Marquis, will host a “Southern France Wine Dinner” that will take Miami foodies on a culinary journey of the coveted region. Beginning at 7 p.m., on Wednesday, May 15, the fantastic evening will begin with a glass of Commanderie de Payrassol Rosé de Provence in the bar and lounge, and move on to a three-course dinner in the Salon De Provence that your taste buds won’t be able to forget.
Making the night even more special, the event will be led by a triple threat: Head Sommelier Daniel Chaviano, Executive Chef Clark Bowen, and Pastry Chef Saeko Nemoto Guest, all of Boulud Sud Miami. Guests will be able to experience a three-course dinner, all paired with hand-selected wines that showcase the best southern France. On the menu, diners can also expect to find regional specialties of the destination, like Brandade De Morue, Tuna Crudo A La Provencale, Spring Roasted Lamb Saddle, and Provencal Pagne De Basket. To accompany these tasty dishes, Chaviano will be pouring glasses of Domaine du Bagnol Cassis Blanc 2017; Mas Cal Demoura, Terre de Jonquières; Terrasses du Larzac, 2015; and Domaine de Fenouillet Muscat Beaumes de Venise 2017/18.
