Here are all of the food events in Miami you can get excited about this week:

Tuesday, November 1: World Vegan Day
This Tuesday, celebrate World Vegan Day with your favorite plant-based foods. And because you’re in Miami, do it at DIRT {232 5th Street, Miami Beach; 305.763.8548}: Miami Beach’s own farm-to-counter eatery specializing in clean eating, healthy cuisine, and fresh vegan, gluten-free, vegetarian, and Paleo options. For top vegan dishes, opt for the Seoul Bowl (Kimchee-spiced Napa cabbage, sautéed carrots, scallions, and bamboo rice), the Autumn Plate (caramelized Brussels sprouts, roasted sweet potato-banana mash, shaved vegetables, and pomegranate molasses), or the Pumpkin Almond Smoothie (pumpkin, banana, mango, local wildflower honey, almond butter, housemade almond and Brazil nut mylk, fresh ginger, orange zest, cinnamon, and nutmeg). All promise to be as delicious as they are beneficial for man and animal alike.

Flying with the Stars Dinner on Wednesday, November 2
On November 2, 2016 Graspa Group’s Salumeria 104Midtown Oyster Bar, Spuntino Catering, Allegiance Crane, Eat This Drink That Go and American Airlines will come together to produce the third annual “Flying with the Stars” dinner. Taking place at The Bath Club, in Miami Beach, this one-of-a-kind event will showcase a once-in-a-lifetime six-course wine-pairing dinner created by Italian Michelin-starred Chefs Davide Brovelli (Il Sole di Ranco) and Tommaso Arrigoni (Innocenti Evasioni). Miami’s own chefs, Angelo Masarin and Carlo Donadoni, as well as the Salumeria 104 and Midtown Oyster Bar teams, will also contribute their talents to the meal. Tickets for Flying with the Stars are priced at $250 per person. This event will take place on November 2, 2016, from 7 – 11 p.m. The Bath Club is located at 5937 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33140.

Verde and J. Wakefield Brewery Host Beer-Pairing Dinner
On Thursday, November 3, head to Verde at the Pérez Art Museum Miami for a special three-course, beer-pairing dinner with J. Wakefield Brewery. During this delicious evening, Verde’s Executive Chef Kaytlin Dangaran will team up with J. Wakefield Brewery for a one-of-a-kind dinner experience that starts with passed canapés like Grilled Oyster with Cranberry Mignonette and Calabaza Arrancini with Kale Pesto paired with the brewery’s Campos de Fresas brew. Then, for dinner, each of three courses will be paired with a handcrafted brew made specifically to enhance the accompanying dish, like Porchetta with rosemary chimichurri, roasted marble potatoes, and mustard greens paired with J. Wakefied Brewery’s 24th Street Brown. Tickets are available for $65 per person, and can be purchased here.

Seed Food and Wine Festival 2016
Taking place from November 2 – 6, 2016, this annual event is the premier celebration of plant-based food and wine in the nation. It takes place at a variety of venues throughout Wynwood and Miami Beach, and is a week-long adventure through cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, celebrity chef dinners, craft beer and spirits tastings, the first ever veggie burger battle, wellness events, workshops, yoga, urban gardening, a 5k run, a “kids day,” and more. The entire event is presented by Whole Foods, and at the core of it all is a giant tasting event: the Seed Festival Day Tasting Village. It is important to note that all food served during the festival is plant-based or vegan, and whenever possible, organic and non-gmo certified. Tickets for all of the different events range between $15 and $559 per person, and can be reserved here.
