Sometimes, life calls for a night in with a stiff drink. And when that night comes, make it a haute one and whip up this Blood Moon cocktail from La Mar by Gastón Acurio {500 Brickell Key Drive, Brickell; 305.913.8358}. We’ve got the recipe, below!
Here’s how it’s made:
Mix 1 1/2 ounces Don Julio Tequila, 1 1/2 ounces blood orange liqueur, 1/2 ounce lemon juice, 1/2 ounce organic egg white, 1/2 ounce agave, and three drops of guava purée in a shaker with ice. Rim your drinking glass of choice with Black Hawaiian Sea Salt. Pour mixture into the glass. Garnish with a slice of blood orange, as shown in the photo above.
