Cuban Molletes at LT Steak & Seafood

For breakfast…
Where you’re eating: LT Steak & Seafood {1440 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach, 305.531.6100}
Why you’re there:
This restaurant is the brainchild of famed chef Laurent Tourondel, and sits at the bottom of Ocean Drive’s standout hotel, The Betsy South Beach.
What to order: If you’re not craving the Belgian Waffle with passionfruit or the Brioche French Toast with almond cream, opt for the Cuban Molletes. It tops an English muffin with black beans, Swiss cheese, ham, fried eggs, pickled mojo sauce, and mashed sweet plantains. For a real treat, wash it all down with one of LT’s fresh-pressed juices—the Watermelon Kiss with watermelon, pineapple, lemon, and mint is particularly delightful.
For a light lunch…
Where you’re eating: DiLido Beach Club {1 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach; 786.276.4000}
Why you’re there:
This laid-back, beachfront eatery is in The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach, so it combines the best of luxury and serenity.
What to order: Take your pick. There’s an Atlantic seafood raw bar, simply grilled fresh fish, small plates, sandwiches, juice smoothies, craft beers, and crave-worthy cocktails.
For happy hour…
Where you’re eating: Market at EDITION {2901 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach; 786.257.4600}
Why you’re there:
This is one of Miami Beach’s most unique restaurants. It’s a Mediterranean food hall concept born from talented, Michelin-star chef, Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
What to order: Taking place daily from 4 to 7 p.m., this happy hour serves $10 glasses of Whispering Angel Rosé and fresh oysters for just $2 each.

MR CHOW Noodles at MR CHOW

For dinner…
Where you’re eating: MR CHOW {2201 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach; 305.938.3000}
Why you’re there:
A favorite of celebrities like George Clooney, Barbra Streisand, and Jack Nicholson, this upscale Asian dining destination has become world-renowned for its haute food and awe-inspiring decor.
What to order: The MR CHOW Noodles is historic at MR CHOW. It was introduced in 1968, is made with hand-pulled noodles and sweet and spicy pork sauce, and is celebrated every night with a nightly “noodle show” by the restaurant chef.
For a sizzling steak…
Where you’re eating: StripSteak by Michael Mina {4441 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach; 305.674.4780}
Why you’re there:
This restaurant is the brainchild of James Beard Award-winning restaurateur and chef Michael Mina, and sits in Miami’s see-and-be-seen hotel, the Fontainebleau Miami Beach.
What to order: Get the 50-ounce Australian Tomahawk, and choose from 12 accompaniments; from Bernaise and Black Truffle Butter, to Seared Foie Gras, Half Maine Lobster Tail, and Jumbo Gulf Shrimp.

Wood Oven Empanadas at Los Fuegos by Francis Mallmann

For Sunday brunch…
Where you’re eating: Los Fuegos by Francis Mallmann {3201 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach; 786.655.5600}
Why you’re there:
With sharing plates of live-fire plates like Lechón (a whole-roasted confit pig), Madagascar Prawns with garlic aioli, slow-cooked Ojo de Bife ribeye steak, Wood Oven Empanadas, Roasted Cauliflower and more, this Sunday Asado Brunch is the most unique brunch in the Magic City.
What to order: The Wood Oven Empanadas with hand-cut Prime filet and llajua sauce are a fan favorite.
For pizza…
Where you’re eating: Pizza & Burger: Michael’s Backyard Kitchen {4441 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach; 305.674.4636}
Why you’re there: This casual Michael Mina concept also sits in the glamorous Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Go hungry, leave happy! There are burgers, pizzas, snacks, and cocktails like you’ve never had before.
What to order: They’re all amazing, but meat lovers should get The Pork Store pizza with soppressata, spicy pepperoni, pancetta sweet peppers, and bocconcini.
For something really different…
Where you’re eating: The Sarsaparilla Club {1801 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach; 305.531.1271}
Why you’re there: Helmed by Jeff McInnis and Janine Booth, this Southern-inspired spot uniquely fuses Cantonese Dim Sum with American comfort food.
What to order: Since it’s something different, order a couple things off the restaurant’s dim sum carts. The Braised Short Rib Dumplings with crispy onion rings and black vinegar, or the Tar’d N’ Feathered Chicken Wings. The latter douses crispy fried chicken lollipops with sticky hot sauce, ranch dressing, and celery.

The Lido Bayside Grille at The Standard Spa, Miami Beach

For stunning views to pair with your feast…
Where you’re eating: The Lido Bayside Grill at The Standard Spa, Miami Beach {40 Island Ave, Miami Beach; 305.673.1717}
Why you’re there: The food is incredible, and you can’t beat dining beneath light-strung awnings, right next to the fanciful pool, with yacht-strewn Biscayne Bay views.
What to order: Anything. But we particularly love the Lamb Meatballs with couscous, green peppercorn, and cippolini onion, or the Artichoke Frites with Lemon-caper vegan aioli.
Happy dining!
