This weekend marks the 18th-Annual Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival (SOBEWFF)—and that means it’s also time for Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s 4th-Annual Ping Pong, Pizzas & Peroni! Taking place on Friday, February 22, 2019, this late-night event, which will run from 10 p.m. to Midnight, still reigns as the hottest unofficial event of SOBEWFF.
Held at The Miami Beach EDITION {2901 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach; 786.257.4600}, this event invites guests to participate in Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s favorite past time: ping pong! To accompany the games, the owner of Matador Room, Market at EDITION, and Tropicale will put out a vast Italian spread of raw bar specialties, sweet treats, and of course, pizza; all to be washed down with Peroni beer.
Want to play a game or two? You can! If you’re good, you might even get a chance to take on JVG or one of his celebrity chef friends. Past attendees have included: Guy Fieri, Marc Murphy, Amanda Freitag, Jose Andres and Marcus Samuelsson.
