Party the night away at Villa Azur!

Here is this week’s Miami food news:

Wednesday, March 21: Celebrate MMW at Cantina La Veinte
Dress to impress, ladies! In honor of Miami Music Week, Brickell’s nicest Mexican spot, Cantina La Veinte {495 Brickell Avenue, Brickell; 786.623.6135}, will take their weekly Ladies Night to another level. From 5 to 10 p.m. this Wednesday, ladies can still drink free margaritas (with passionfruit, coconut, spicy Jalapeno, tamarind, and even edible gold, might we add), all while jamming out to beats by DJ Geeh, Marcel Reina, Alberto Kretschmar, DJ Jeff, and an electrifying saxophonist. On top of that, bottles of Veuve Clicquot Brut will be available for just $75 per bottle. Cheers!
Thursday, March 22: Kick-Off MMW at Villa Azur
This whole week is all about two things: music and partying. And at Villa Azur {309 23 Street, Miami Beach; 305.763.8688}, you’ll get both! Open every night from 6 p.m. until late, this haute Mediterranean restaurant and lounge will celebrate Miami Music Week with hot dinner parties with even hotter DJs. On Thursday night, it will officially kick-off the weekend with DJ Jaochim Garraud, Mark Ursa, and Resident DJ Stephan M—and of course, Executive Chef Philippe Ruiz’ delicious Mediterranean fare, creative cocktails, and beautiful people watching all night long.
Sunday, March 25: 14th Annual Deering Estate Seafood Festival
This Sunday, the 14th Annual Deering Seafood Festival, will return to the beautiful 450-acre Deering Estate. Focused on Florida’s freshest fish and seafood, this festival brings together area restaurants and caterers, celebrity chef demos, live music, fun-filled adventures for the kidsrock climbing, anyone?Virgin Islands stilt walkers, and even a colorful Bahamian Junkanoo parade. When you go, don’t forget to stop by the Chef Tent, where Executive Chef Kal Abdalla, of A Fish Called Avalon {700 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach; 305.532.1727}, will be showing us all how to make a mean Shellfish Orzo Paella. Deering Estate is located at 16701 SW 72nd Avenue. The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets start at $20 per adult, and can be purchased here.
Happy dining!
