A day dedicated to drinking wine? We’re in. Here’s where you can celebrate National Wine Day in Miami:
Big Easy Winebar & Grill: Indulge in the flavors of the Western Cape region of South Africa during Easy Hour, where guests will get a flight of three two-ounce pours of select white and red South African Wines for $12, and half-off all wines by the glass for $5 to $9 per glass. Pair it all with the restaurant’s tastiest bites—like Fried Green Tomatoes, Pork Belly “Lollipops” or Mini Cauliflower Samosas—and have an easy celebration, indeed. Easy Hour at Big Easy Winebar & Grill {701 South Miami Avenue, Suite 339, Brickell; 786.814.5955} will run from 4 to 7 p.m.
Glass & Vine: Head to Peacock Park and, in honor of National Wine Day, sip your favorite pours at a discounted price. In addition to happy hour at Glass & Vine {2820 McFarlane Road, Coconut Grove; 305.200.5268}, which gives all drinkers half-off wines from 4 to 7 p.m. daily, wine lovers can enjoy half-off bottles of wine all day long. Order Chef Giorgio Rapicavoli’s modern twist on Floridian cuisine to go with it, like Florida Stracciatella on Zak the Baker bread or Watermelon Salad with cotija and toasted corn, and you’ll be in vino heaven. This special will be available at Glass & Vine during lunch, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and dinner, from 5:30 to 10 p.m.
Cibo Wine Bar Coral Gables: If you live near the Mile, saunter on over to Cibo Wine Bar Coral Gables {45 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables; 305.442.4925}, the neighborhood’s biggest wine bar. Celebrate National Wine Day with this spot’s Thursday Cibo Sociale, where guests can get half-off wine, beer, and cocktails from 4 to 7 p.m., and ladies drink free from 6 to 8 p.m. Adding to its allure, a live DJ will be there to keep the party going. Don’t want to go home at 8 p.m.? Cibo Wine Bar will stay open until 2 a.m.
NaiYaRa: Head to NaiYaRa {1854 Bay Road, Miami Beach; 786.275.6005} during happy hour and get $7 Prosecco and white, red, and rosé wines by the glass. For a real treat, pair it all with bites like White Fish Tacos, Thai Guacamole, Tempura Papaya, and more—also priced at just $7 each. Happy Hour at NaiYaRa will run from 5 to 7 p.m.
Café Roval: Go to what is undeniably Mark Soyka’s most beautiful spot, Café Roval {5808 NE 4 Court, Miami, Morningside; 786.953.7850}, and grab a seat in the lush garden. If you’re there during it’s beat-the-clock-style happy hour, you’ll get $5 wines at 5 p.m., $6 wines at 6 p.m., and so on. Happy Hour at Café Roval will run from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
Happy dining!
